Thanks for the welcome
The Stephens College students are back in Okoboji and settled into the OST campus. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and Okoboji Summer Theatre Association members, we were able to give them welcome bags. These contained information about the area, coupons, food items, and clothing. The following local businesses provided gift items:
Arby's, Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Books 'n' Things, Casey's, Central Bank, Classic Car Museum, Duke's, Farmers Savings Bank, Goodies, HyVee, IGL Chamber of Commerce, Localish, McDonald's, Museum of Money, Northwest Bank, Okoboji Skin Care, Okoboji Tourism, Perkins, Pink in the Park, Stauss Realty, Subway, Sugar Shack, The Boat House, The Three Sons, and the Welcome Center.
The 62nd season of the Okoboji Summer Theatre started Tuesday, June 11, with the musical "The Honky Tonk Angels." To buy tickets for any of the shows, stop by the theatre on Highway 71or call the box office at 712-332-7773 to make reservations. It's not too late to buy discount voucher books for the season. These can be purchased at Northwest Bank, Liberty National Bank, Pearson Lakes Art Center, or Arts on Grand.
