Which party threatens pensions and Social Security, runs up deficits, and borrows from reserves? It is not mine.
Which party awards corporations for denying proper health care to Iowans? It is not mine.
Which party gives tax breaks that benefit the rich and large corporations more than everyday citizens? It is not mine.
Which party touts a fiscally responsible budget when its bottom line comes on the back of mid-year cuts to senior meals, child protection and education? It is not mine.
Which party touts the projections of Iowa’s Revenue Estimating Committee as authoritative after excusing themselves over and over because of chronic and serious errors the REC has made over a decade? It is not mine.
Which party spreads social scare messages likely to worsen Iowa's worker shortage problem? It is not mine.
Which party claims that trade agreements that largely benefit corporate agriculture instead of independent farmers will solve current market problems? It is not mine.
Which party has local candidates that take most of their money from corporate PACS and redonate it right back out of the district? It is not mine.
Which party is willing to starve natural resources while not leveraging federal and other dollars that could address significant problems? It is not mine.
Which party represents itself as fiscally conservative when it is anything but, while slinging stereotypes of financial mismanagement? It is not mine.
It’s time to get some sensible people in the middle to ditch nonsense from either side of the political spectrum.
