Harry "Russ" Winkleblack passed away of natural causes on May 26,2023, in Apache Junction Health Center.

Russ was a longtime resident of the Emmetsburg and the Lakes Area and, after retiring from the John Deere implement business, he relocated to Mesa, Arizona.

Kathleen Kay Hardman, age 78, of Milford was born April 20, 1944, and went to be with Jesus on Nov. 16, 2022. Kathleen loved life and always shared a smile, an encouraging word and a hug when someone needed it. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness.

Joyce Colvin Grim, age 97 of Spirit Lake died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Northshire in Spencer.

A celebration of life for Joyce will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Dickinson County Nature Center. The celebration will be a come-and-go event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. at the Milford Cemetery up on the hill.

A celebration of life service for Earl Baish, age 91, of Milford and formerly of Lake Park, was held Friday, May 26, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Interment was at Harrison Township Cemetery near May City.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Melvin American Legion Post 470 or the Milford American Legion Post 384 in Earl’s name.

Norma Tvedt, age 92, formerly of Estherville, passed away on Dec. 25, 2022, at Aspire Nursing Home in Lake Park. A memorial service for Norma will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday Aug. 5, 2023, at Estherville Lutheran Church. Norma's family will greet visitors from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Noreen Rust died peacefully in her sleep during the night of Saturday, Jan. 21/Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023. She died in her room at Briarwood Health Care Center in Iowa City, after a day during which she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, songs, storytelling and fond remembrances.

Patricia Ann Baumgarn, affectionately known as Pat, was born on Aug. 26, 1947, to Thelma and Alfred McNab in Worthington, Minnesota. She spent her formative years in Rushmore and Worthington, cultivating the values and qualities that would shape her remarkable life.

Von R. Kilts, age 77, of Primghar, who passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon. His funeral service were held Wednesday, April 26 at the United Church of Primghar with Pastor Mike Cooper officiating.

Burial took place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar.
