Some early holiday buzz steadily ramped up Saturday during the annual Milford Holiday Fantasy. Families were ready that morning as they made holiday crafts and voted on their favorite Christmas tree display at the Milford Memorial Library. Many stuck around in anticipation of St. Nick's arrival later that morning and were not disappointed when Santa took his seat and spoke with the children. Some even completed the morning's trifecta and waited in line for a bowl of soup or chili in the nearby Milford Community Building. The scent of fresh popcorn wafted through the room as several different recipes were stirred and readied for tasting. The public also returned to the downtown area later that night for the evening's lighted parade down Highway 71.
