Matthew 26:28 -- "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Do you know that we have the same power in us that was in Jesus Christ? Do you know that you can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover; you can speak to poverty and it has to be gone. Did you know you can speak to demons and they have to flee?
God sent His only son Jesus to die on the cross for you and I and then to rise again for us for God wanted children, not grandchildren. God does not have any grandchildren, only children. We have to come before God ourselves and repent of our sins and ask Jesus to be Lord of our lives. Your mother, your father, your brother or sister can not do this for you.
Only you and you alone comes before the Father. He is standing at the door, waiting for you with open arms.
There is power in the blood. Look into the mirror of the Word and let God reveal himself to you. As we are alive in Christ and led by the Holy Spirit, we live in the wisdom of God, covered with the shed blood of Jesus.
Many of us know these songs on the blood:
Nothing But the Blood,
Are You Washed in the Blood,
Oh, the Blood of Jesus,
There is Power in the Blood.
We gain bold access to the throne of God when we use the blood of Jesus. Make it a daily habit in your prayer time to cover yourself, your families, friends and neighbors with the blood of Jesus.
As Christians today, the Word of God tells us to come boldly into His presence: we have confidence to enter the Holy Places by the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19). Because of the blood, we can come before Him: casting all our cares upon Him (1st Peter 5:7): praying anywhere and anytime in the Holy Spirit.(Eph. 6:18).
Does your prayer life reflect the kind of relationship you have with God through the blood of Jesus Christ? Remember the blood never changes, it is still the Blood of the Lamb slain for us.
If you are facing a problem or bad circumstance in your life, whether it be sickness, poverty, unsaved loved ones, whatever it may be, take it to the Lord in prayer, covering the situation with the blood of Jesus.
Oh, the blood of Jesus, only He can make us whole again: Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus!
