Expressing gratitude

Tuesday, April 3, 2018

To our family, friends and the entire community and beyond, we donít know where to begin.

As many of you know, our peaceful lives were turned upside down recently, after we lost our home to fire. It has been a surreal time. Thankfully our family is safe, which is absolutely the most important part of this whole experience. We have to begin with a special thanks to the firefighters and first responders from the surrounding towns for your efforts to limit the level of damage to our home. Also, a heartfelt thank you to everyone for all of your generous donations of clothes, supplies and financial support.

The compassion and generosity that has been shown to us started while the fire was still burning and continues each day. It has been overwhelming. People brought us toothbrushes and clothing that night when we hadnít even processed the fact that we didnít have ours anymore.

We certainly have a long road ahead, but it is so comforting to know we are not alone.

We are eternally grateful for everything everyone has done for us. We are truly humbled by it all. We will never forget the incredible support given to us. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you!
