A need for skills and solutions
"The illegal alien who, no one disagrees, killed Kate Steinle is found NOT guilty in sanctuary city, San Francisco. Sickening! I will spare no effort to do my own killing — of all amnesty in every form!"
These are the words of Steve King posted today on his Facebook page. This is the kind of hate speech we need to discredit and defuse. When hundreds of Americans have been killed by white Americans, Mr. King is silent. This kind of rhetoric cannot be tolerated. Do we have issues with immigration? Yes, we do. Is hate-filled speech the answer for this problem? I think not.
Mr. King's violent, discriminatory words will do nothing to improve this situation. This is yet another example of Mr. King's inability to lead in a tolerant, solution-focused manner. There have been many examples this past year of Mr. King's inability to demonstrate the leadership skills needed from our 4th District Congressman. Mr. King does not have these skills. He can only discredit, disavow, and denigrate that which does not meet his personal standard, which excludes tolerance, solution-focused thinking and an ability to listen to his constituents. Mr. King needs to go.
