Bad Authority returns for Oktoberfest
Iowa Rock íní Roll Music Association is pleased to be working with the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce to help produce a fun-filled Oktoberfest celebration on Sept 30. Along with the 24-mile bike ride, food and drink specials around town, and a craft show, visitors can rock out to Bad Authority at the Roof Garden starting at 8 p.m. that night.
Recapturing the true spirit of rock íní roll with big hair, loud guitars, wailing vocals, and relentless energy. Influenced by artists such as KISS, Led Zeppelin, Dokken, Iron Maiden, MŲtley CrŁe, and many more, Bad Authority delivers a rip-roaring, explosive rock íní roll show to be enjoyed by listeners of all ages.
Bad Authority caught their first big break by winning Iowa Rock íní Roll Music Associationís Battle of the Bands in 2014. Part of the prize was a recording session at Catamount Studios. They recorded their first EP in 2015 and in 2016, the band opened for a number of nationally-acclaimed acts including the Steve Miller Band, Ted Nugent and Hairball. This summer, folks may have seen Bad Authority opening for Three Dog Night and Great White. On Sept. 30, Iowa Rock íní Roll Music Association welcomes Bad Authority back home to the Roof Garden where it all began.

Those with a University of Okoboji Oktoberfest Bike Ride wrist band get in for half price.
