Okoboji's season came to a close Thursday at the Class 2A Sectional Golf Tournament. The Pioneers, who hosted the tourney at Emerald Hills, carded a combined round of 367 to place sixth. They had no individuals advance.

"We struggled most of the day," Okoboji coach Jeremy Wollenburg said. "Nik Mankle and Ian Brandt played well for most of the day, but had a couple of holes they really struggled on. Overall, we didn't play up to our potential. It was a disappointing day overall."

Mankle carded an 85 for the Pioneers. Brandt followed closely behind with an 86.
