Harris-Lake Park girls golf ends season at regional tourney
The Harris-Lake Park girls golf team wrapped its season with a fifth-place finish in the Class 1A Regional Golf Tournament hosted by Boyden-Hull on Monday.
The Wolves carded a combined round of 445.
Kenzie Heikens led the way with a 105. Jazmin Voehl shot a 108. Lexi Stahly and Skylar Forbes carded matching rounds of 116 to wrap the Wolves' scoring.
Akron-Westfield won the team title with a combined score of 360.
The Westerners were followed by George-Little Rock (423), West Sioux (435), Central Lyon (436), Harris-Lake Park (445) and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (482).
Akron-Westfield had the top three individuals at the meet. Ann Hedlund won the individual title with an 83. Bailey Davis placed second with an 87. Brooke Koele carded a 90 to place third.
HMS' Maddy Borden shot a 92 to place fourth and George-Little Rock's Abby Vander Laan shot a 97 to place fifth.
