Healing service at ST. Alban's Episcopal

The northwest Iowa Chapter of the Order of St. Luke will be offering its Quarterly Public Service of Healing and Holy Eucharist at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Spirit Lake. Rev. Robert Kem, a member of the Order of Saint Luke and a retired priest from St. Anne's in Ankeny, will lead the service. Father Robert will also lead the regular Eucharist service 10 a.m. that Sunday at St. Alban's. The International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL) is an ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian healing ministry. It is made up of clergy, health professionals and people who believe healing is an essential part of the teaching and practice of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is an interdenominational Christian order of faith, prayer and service, with members throughout the world. St. Alban's Episcopal Church is located at 2011 23rd St. in Spirit Lake, just east of the Lakes regional Hospital.
