Okoboji students to help UNICEF
Okoboji High School Key Club will be participating in Trick or Treat for UNICEF from 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. For 13 years this student service group has participated in this global service project. Students will be canvassing Milford collecting spare change to support the needs of underprivileged children around the world.
UNICEF works in more that 190 countries and territories to help keep the world's kids alive and healthy-using the money raised. UNICEF shares the Kiwanis family's global commitment to children. All money collected by Key Club organizations around the country will once again support the Eliminate project and help save moms and babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus. The Okoboji High School Key Club is sponsored by the Milford Kiwanis Club.
