TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARRESTS, DRUG CHARGES
The Spirit Lake Police Department found methamphetamine -- and a stolen end table -- during a traffic stop at approximately 10:42 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4.
Jes Rohrbaugh, 30, of Paulina, was operating a 2000 Ford Taurus in the 900 block of 9th Street. Rohrbaugh was wanted on an Osceloa Country warrant for contempt of court and was placed under arrest and booked into the Dickinson County Jail. The Taurus was impounded and inventoried, subsequently a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found. Rourbaugh was charged with possesion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine - second offense, prohibitied acts - unlawful transporting, possession of drug paraphernalia, no inusrance and violation of the conditions of a restricted driver's license.
* Roy Sator, 57, Spirit Lake, was charged with theft of an end table at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 along 23rd Street.
* Michael Heidenreich, 49, Jackson, Minn., was charged with an OWI - second offense, at 1:23 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at 27th Street and Enterprise Avenue in Spirit Lake.
* Heidi Henshaw, 18, Spirit Lake, was charged with going armed with intent and assault with intent at 3:22 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at 1612 Ithaca Avenue.
* Connie Tolan, 56, Spirit Lake, was charged with fifth degree theft of $30 at 6:53 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake.
