Whiting, D'Amico to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Whiting of Spirit Lake are delighted to announce the engagement of their son, Zachary Steven Whiting, to Juliana Jennings D'Amico, daughter of Mr. John D'Amico and the late Patricia D'Amico, of Troy, Mich.

The future groom graduated from Stetson University and is currently studying at the Drake University Law School. The future bride graduated from Hillsdale College and is currently employed at a public relations firm.

The happy couple met in Washington, D.C., while interning for Congressman Steve King of Iowa. They look forward to a July 2012 wedding performed by Dr. Kurt Truckess, Senior Pastor at Faith Church of Spirit Lake, where the groom and his family have been attending for over 20 years.
