Now that cigarettes have been vilified, Ronald McDonald crucified and Michelle Obama has begun her war on all of the food SHE thinks I shouldn't be allowed to eat and she's turned to the killer of Mom & Pop stores, WalMart, no less to give me a healthier life style, may I ask when the attention is going to be turned to alcohol?
I'd like a study done on the number of homes that have been broken, lives lost in accidents, patients dying of cirrhosis and the myriad of other atrocities caused by the abuse of alcohol.
Why is it that even though I could count on one hand the number of times I have eaten at the forbidden fast food chain in the past six months, I am made to feel guilty if I order fries with any order, but someone can go to the bar after work on Friday and sit there until close but that's OK?
If "Big Brother" is going to look out for my best interest in what I eat, why isn't he hammering people for their overuse of alcohol.
If you feel the same way and you're brave enough, write your Congressman. Let's work on affecting a REAL change.
