Indians perform well on home course

The Spirit Lake boys cross country team captured the top three spots by a wide margin Tuesday evening in their own invitational at Brooks National Golf Course. Senior Alec Baldwin won his first ever 5K title, while junior Keith Byers placed second and sophomore Will Norris finished third. Senior Brian Brunsvold and sophomore K.J. Veldman paced the Indians on the girls side, coming in third and fourth, respectively. Look for full stories in next Wednesday's edition of the DCN.
