We would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Dickinson and Clay Counties for supporting the Health and Wellness Expo on Aug. 21 in Spirit Lake. The event was a success due to the cooperation of many people. We would like to thank the speakers who shared their expertise during the break-out sessions including Mary Dean with Northwest Aging Association, Cal Chapman with MHR Insurance, and Janine Gustafson with Yoga Okoboji. Additionally, we were grateful for donations from the following individuals and businesses: Bruce Keenan and Dan Dreeszen with the Dickinson County Cattlemen, Todd Hummel with Pioneer Seeds, Land Mark Foods, Physical Therapists from Lakes Regional Heathcare Home Care and Hospice and Good Samaritan Society Home Care, Heather Kruse and Lewis Family Drug, Dickinson County Expo Building, Dickinson County News, Jeff Thee and Lakes TV, Heritage Lake, Keelson Harbour, Home Instead Senior Care, Buy-Rite and Wal-Mart.
We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who donated their time that day. We greatly appreciate the articles and press releases published by the Dickinson County News and Lakes News Shopper.
