Wilson-Kalkhoff Wedding Announcement

Mike Kalkhoff and Heather Wilson were married May 29, 2010 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Reinbeck, with Father Dennis Quint presiding.

Parents of the couple are Joe and Becky Wilson of Hudson and Dr. Tom and Annette Kalkhoff of Spirit Lake.

Maid of Honor was Laura Wilson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kaylee Kotz of Tipton, future sister-in-law of the bride, Jill Stalzer of Iowa City, cousin of the bride, Jessica Tobelmann of Plymouth, Minn., Julia Wiggen of Duluth, Minn., Michelle Miles of Highlands Ranch, Colo., sister of the groom, and Sara Full of Portland, Ore.

Paul Perkins-McIntosh of River Falls, Wis., was the best man. Groomsmen were Pat Hermiston of Davenport, Danny Kalkhoff of Denton, Texas, cousin of the groom, David Miles of Highlands Ranch, Colo., brother-in-law of the groom, Nick Wilson of Augusta, Georgia, brother of the bride, and Steve Nystrom of Antioch Ill.

Victoria O'Connor of Sioux Falls, S.D., cousin of the bride was the flower girl and ring bearer was Kevin O'Connor of Fort Dodge, cousin of the bride.

Seating guests were Alex Michl, Andrew Havens, Ryan Paul and Evan Moser.

A reception and dance followed at the Isle in Waterloo. Host couples were Anna Kalkhoff and Larry Johansen, aunt and uncle of the groom and Emily and Randal Schieltz aunt and uncle of the bride. Master of Ceremonies was Dave Kalkhoff, uncle of the groom.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed at John Deere Worldwide Product Development Center in Silvus, Ill. The groom is a 2010 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in chemical engineering and a minor in biology. He is attending medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City.

After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple lives in West Branch.
