Four daughters host 55th Anniversary celebration

The daughters of Roger and Peggy Jones cordially invite you to join them in celebrating their parents' 55th Wedding Anniversary. An open-house reception will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1 in the Lakeview Room at The Inn of Okoboji.

The couple was married April 20, 1955, at the Spirit Lake Methodist Church, of which they are still long time active members. They have four daughters and eight grandchildren whose families include; Cindy (Steve, Katie and Dusty Klein) of Forest Grove, Ore.; Rhonda (Doug, Patrick and Benjamin Fisk) of Lake Kiowa, Texas; Lisa, (Chad Reeder, Ashley and Brody McClain) of Twin Falls, Idaho; Teresa (Damon, Kayley and Tyler Gehrels) of Johnston, Iowa.

Roger retired from 33 years at Morton Buildings in 2003. Peggy retired from Assistant Clerk at the City of Okoboji and City Clerk of Wahpeton after a number of years. Since retirement they split their time between their Okoboji home of 53 years and their condo in Tempe, Ariz. Roger is an avid fisherman while Peggy enjoys reading, both are loyal Iowa Hawkeye fans who are very active and love to travel while spending time with family and friends.

We congratulate them on 55 years of marriage and thank them for all their years of loving support! We look forward to having you share in the celebration.
