Mauritz, Owen to wed

Stan and Mary Lu Mauritz from Pocahontas, formerly from Spirit Lake, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jonathon, to Amy Ohen, daughter of Dr. Henry and Mrs. Ohen from Houston.

Amy graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugarland, Texas, in 2002 and from Baylor College of Medicine in 2010. She will complete her residency and anesthesia at Duke University.

Jonathon is a 2002 graduate of Spirit Lake High School and a 2007 graduate of Iowa State University. he is employed as a mechanical engineer at Hudson products in the Houston area.

An August 14, 2010 wedding is planned in Houston. A reception will be held in Iowa at a later date.
