Merryman, Stephas to wed

Annette Merryman of Milford and Jeff Merryman of Spencer are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Anne Merryman, to Rick James Stephas, son of Rodney and Sherri Stephas of Spencer.

Emily is a 2008 graduate of Buena Vista University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in education and human services. Rick is a 2009 graduate from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in forestry. Rick is a Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corp. A May 8 wedding is planned.
