Aeikens-Bitterman wedding planned

Richard Bitterman and Amanda Aeikens would like to announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Dale and Terri Bitterman of Parkston, S.D., and Glenn and Pat Aeikens of Spirit Lake.

Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Spirit Lake High School. She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Dakota in 2007. Amanda is currently employed as a preschool teacher at Wagner Community Schools in Wagner, S.D.

Richard is a 2001 graduate of Tripp-Delmont High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Economics in 2005 and master's degree in Business Administration in 2008, both from the University of South Dakota. Richard is currently employed by Polaris Industries in Vermillion, S.D.

A June 26 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spirit Lake.
