Sirens 12-23

On Dec. 18 at approximately 4 p.m., a search of the residence of 607 Lake Street in Spirit Lake was conducted by the Spirit Lake Police Department. As a result of the search, the police arrested Kenneth Leroy Scott, 46, and Richelle Anne Evans, 41.

Kenneth Scott was charged with possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.

Richelle Evans was charged with possession of a controlled substance - marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Spirit Lake Police Department was assisted by the Department of Human Services.

Spirit Lake arrest

Dale Mathuig, 56, of Donnell, Minn., was arrested for driving while suspended and cited for no SR 22 at 9:02 p.m. Dec. 2.

Criminal charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
