Milford police are seeking a suspect involved in a convenience store robbery last Friday evening.

"The robbery is still under investigation," said Milford Police Chief Vernon Flack. "We're just running down every lead we've got."

According to authorities, a male entered Dyno's Convenience Store in Milford a little after 10 p.m. on Oct. 23 and demanded money threatening that he had a gun. The male grabbed a sum of cash from the till and ran out the door.

"As far as the amount of cash taken, it is undetermined at this time," said Flack.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a gray parka style jacket with dark pants and a white scarf covering his face. Flack said the video is still being analyzed for further description, and the suspect did not get into a vehicle at the robbery site.

"He took off on foot," said Flack. "The drug dog tracked him for about four blocks and then lost the scent... We believe he got into a vehicle at that time, but we're not sure."

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the law enforcement center at (712) 336-2525 or call the Dickinson County Crime Stoppers at (712) 336-2345.

The Milford Police Department was assisted by the Arnolds Park K9 Unit, Okoboji Police Department, Lake Park Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff's Department and the Iowa State Patrol.
