Erbes and Traver united in marriage

Carrie Marie Erbes and PFC Dustan Jay Traver, United States Army, were united in marriage on June 20, 2009, in Fayetteville, N.C. Army Chaplain Garland Mason performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Louise Erbes of Spirit Lake and Dr. Richard and Leane Erbes of Estherville. The groom is the son of Lorraine Koekenhoff of Graettinger and Jay and Mary Traver of Warrensburg, Mo.

The outdoor ceremony took place at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by matron of honor Katie Rezac of Estherville and bridesmaid Caroline Koekenhoff of Graettinger. The groom was attended by best man Spc. Anthony C.S. Meadows of Fayetteville.

Carrie is a school counselor at Phillips Middle School in Fort Dodge. Dustan is stationed with the 82nd Airborne Division out of Ft. Bragg, NC, serving his 2nd tour of duty in Iraq with the United States Army. After completion of the groom's deployment, the couple will reside in Fort Dodge. To celebrate their marriage and Dustan's homecoming, a reception will be held in 2010.
