Michelson, Beggs to wed

Greg and Nancy Michelson of Spirit Lake are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Allison to Jake Beggs of North Platte, Neb. Jake is the son of Jon and Carol Beggs.

Allison is a 2005 graduate of Spirit Lake High School. She is currently student teaching in Dakabin, Queensland in Australia. She will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies education in December 2009 from Minnesota State University Mankato.

Jake is a 2005 graduate of North Platte High School and is currently attending South Central Community College Mankato, Minn. He is studying for his degree to be an Intensive Care Paramedic. He will graduate in May 2010.

A May 29, 2010 wedding is being planned.
