Rough Riders finish second at USSSA World Series

The Northwest Iowa Rough Riders competed in the 2009 USSSA World Series in mid-July. The Rough Riders made it to the championship game, but ended up placing second after losing the contest in the 11 and under division of the USSSA World Series. These four Rough Riders competed in one of three skill competitions at the 2009 USSSA World Series in mid-July. They won first place in the base running competition of the 11 and under division of the tournament with a time of 1:16.1.
