Okoboji softball team heads to state

The Okoboji softball team was sent off to the 2009 Iowa State Softball Tournament in style on Monday after being paraded around the community by the Arnolds Park/Okoboji and Milford Fire and Rescue Departments. The Pioneers took on Iowa City Regina in the Class 2A quarterfinals at Harlan Rogers Park in Fort Dodge after clinching the regional championship with a 3-2 win over Sioux Central last Wednesday. Okoboji finished the regular season 25-4 overall and a perfect 14-0 in Siouxland Conference play. [Order this photo]
