Tea party

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

I am very honored to live in a country where FREEDOM is an everyday occurrence. Webster's Dictionary defines freedom as the state of being free; exemption from the power and control of another; liberty; independence. We have the opportunity to celebrate FREEDOM in many ways. We know that many of you enjoy visiting the Iowa Great Lakes every year and we want you to be involved!

I am proud to be a part of a newly formed organization called FRIENDS OF FREEDOM. We are a group of republicans, democrats, independents, and libertarians who are lucky enough to celebrate our FREEDOMS or RIGHTS and our RESPONSIBILITIES each and every day. We the Friends of Freedom are planning and organizing a TEA PARTY. It will be held at the historic Carnegie building in downtown Spirit Lake. The event will be held July 4 from 10:30 to 1:00. This is a family event. There will be speakers, music, food and much more! Please join us in CELEBRATING OUR FREEDOM and telling our politicians what is most important to us.

We are looking for your help...what matters the most to you? What concerns do you have for our cities? County? State? Country? Please help us make your voice heard. Send all your concerns to coffeejules@live.com or visit our google group at spirit-lake-tea-party. JOIN US at our weekly meetings held Monday nights at 6 p.m. at the historic Carnegie Building located at 1801 Hill Avenue~Spirit Lake. We want to make your voice heard. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

Respectfully Submitted,

Julie Ebel
