Birth - Ethan Clifford Caviness

Nathan and Carrie Caviness of Carroll are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a baby boy. Weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches long, he was born at 2:18 p.m. on May 29, 2009 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. He has been named Ethan Clifford Caviness.

Along with his parents, Ethan is lovingly welcomed by his maternal grandparents, Chuck and Mary Thatcher of Breda and his paternal grandparents Gary and Carole Caviness of Spirit Lake. Ethan's maternal great-grandparents are Frances Sander of Carroll and Duane and Helen Thatcher of Sioux City. Ethan's great-grandmother in Spirit Lake is Donna Caviness.
