A combined effort between the Okoboji Police Multi Agency Response Team and U.S. Marshal's Service apprehended a wanted subject considered "armed and dangerous" at a motel in Okoboji Thursday evening.

Lee VanMaasdam, 37, wanted on a federal arrest warrant, was taken into custody for probation violation at 9:45 p.m. when MART team members executed a search warrant at the undisclosed motel location in Okoboji. VanMaasdam was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Dickinson County Jail where he is being held for the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Spirit Lake arrests:

- Elizabeth Bergeson, 48, of Milford was arrested on a warrant at 10:27 p.m. May 6.

- Michael T. Jones, 29, of Spirit Lake was arrested on a warrant at 1:20 a.m. May 7.

- Nicole Marie Van Lenning, 23, of Spirit Lake was arrested for domestic abuse - first offense at 6:32 p.m. May 8.

- Sammy Lee Van Lenning, 26, of Spirit Lake was arrested for domestic abuse - second offense at 6:32 p.m. May 8.

- Jes Damon Rohrbaugh, 27, of Arnolds Park was arrested for driving while suspended, no insurance and careless driving at 9:29 p.m. May 8.

- Jason Clair Libengood, 28, of Cold Spring, Texas was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct at 12:18 a.m. May 9.

- Michael Joseph Lindsay, 50, of Spirit Lake was arrested for assault - verbal, OWI - second offense and noise at 5:05 p.m. May 9.
