Salmen, Huberg engaged

Mr. and Mrs. David and Cheryl Salmen of Wessington Springs, S.D. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Linae, to Heath Hjelmer Huberg, son of Cheryl and Mark Zieringer of Omaha, Neb. and Gary Huberg of Royal.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wessington Springs High School and a 2006 graduate of Simpson College, Indianola. Rebecca will graduate in May 2009 with her Master of Music in flute performance from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind., where she is currently teaching music theory.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Okoboji High School, a 2005 graduate of Simpson College, and a 2007 graduate of New England Conservatory, Boston, Mass. (Master of Music, vocal performance). Heath is currently employed as a singer with Utah Symphony and Opera in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Grandparents of the bride are Wayne and Beverly Salmen, Wessington Springs, and Carl Landrum, Jackson, Ga.

The groom' s grandparents are Virgil and Marietta Wahlman, Milford, and Charles and Loueen Huberg, Royal. Great-grandparents are Hjelmer and Dorothy Huberg of Royal.

A Sept. 5 wedding is planned in Sioux Falls, S.D.
