Minivan bursts through Center Lake storefront

No injuries were reported Thursday morning when a mini-van collided with a Spirit Lake storefront. Lavila Peter, 90, of Milford, was driving a 2004 Chevy Venture shortly before 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Goodies in Spirit Lake. While attempting to navigate the parking lot, Peter collided with a bike, losing control of the mini-van and traveled across 30th Street, over a curb and into the Center Lake Plaza. ...
