Peschon named Northwestern's top male athlete

Former Spirit Lake prep athlete Mitch Peschon was recently named the Vander Stoep award winner at Northwestern, an honor presented to the school's top male athlete. A senior outfielder on the Red Raiders baseball team, Peschon has hit .319 for his career in a school record 620 at-bats. He ranks second all-time in runs (153), second all-time in home runs (27), fifth in hits (198), seventh all-time in doubles (39), seventh all-time in RBIs (125), seventh all-time in stolen bases (44)...
