The Iowa Lakes men's and women's soccer teams wrapped their regular seasons Saturday with a pair of wins over Scott Community College. The Laker men won an 8-4 shootout, while the women earned a narrow 3-2 win. Iowa Lakes hosts regional cross country

The Iowa Lakes men's and women's cross country teams played host to the 2014 Region 11 Cross Country Championship on Friday. For the men, Salvador Salazar was the top runner, placing 40th with a personal best time of 31 minutes, 53 seconds. Martin Christensen battled illness while placing 42nd in 33:12. In a road trip to Norfolk, Nebraska on Wednesday, the Iowa Lakes volleyball team fell to Northeast Community College 3-1 (18-25, 22-25, 25-18, 9-25). Spencer swim completes undefeated dual record

For the second straight year, the Spencer swim team swept its dual season slate as the girls earned wins over Storm Lake (59-35) and Sioux City Metro (61-33) on Tuesday at the Spencer Family YMCA.
