Snowy and slick road conditions contributed to a head-on collision Friday, Feb. 14, along Highway 9. Rescue crews were dispatched around 11:19 a.m. to the scene of a head-on accident between a pick up truck and an SUV in the 2800 mile of Highway 9, just east of Spirit Lake. The collision occurred roughly one mile west of the Jackson Y and sent both vehicles into the ditch -- suffering substantial damage to each. Both drivers were transported to the hospital...
