Okoboji's senior duo of Amanda Dunn and Makenzi Anderson made easy work of the competition with an impressive 1-2 finish in the discus throw Thursday, April 8 at the Dutch Relays in Orange City. These are words that both guide Jo Winkowitsch through her grief journey and help her to steer others in their own path. She and her husband, Darwin, who currently operate Tri-States Grain Conditioning in Spirit Lake, are leaders of two grief support programs in Dickinson County; Okoboji Bereaved Parents, which meets the third Tuesday of every month at Good News Community Church, and Grief Share, a 13-week comprehensive grief support program for individuals who are working through the recent loss of a loved one.
