Lakes area sports fixture Elbert, 49, passes away

Lakes area sports announcer Joey Elbert passed away this morning at 5:30 a.m. According to an update made by wife, Jamie, on Elbert's Caringbridge page, the long-time radio fixture passed while receiving treatment at BioCare hospital in Tijuana.
