The Conservation Board's uphill battle (06/10/09)
I can't "NOT" respond to the KUOO news story concerning the Dickinson County Nature Center. I have been a member of the Dickinson County Conservation Board for nearly 20 years, and have never, during that time, been involved in such an uphill battle. I would like to clarify a couple of items pointed out in the news release dated May 28, 2009.

Race for the Cure (06/10/09)
The Komen Race for the Cure is an event that takes place world wide in the fight against Breast Cancer. There is a group of women from Lake Park and the surrounding area, as well as from five other states, that has formed a team, raised money, and participated in this race for the last several years.
