Glamor, glitz and grace combine with high school enthusiasm later this month as area schools host their annual junior/senior prom events. Graettinger/Terril kicked off the prom festivities with its "Night in Paris" event on April 4. On Saturday, April 25, Harris-Lake Park will bring students to "Sunset City" and Okoboji celebrates "Arabian Nights." Spirit Lake hosts the final prom of the season with "A Night in the Orient" on May 2.

Let me first say that I don't like cage fighting, I don't watch it on television and I don't attend any of the local cage fighting matches. But I have always thought that we live in America the land of the FREE! I don't think that I have the right to tell other people what they can or cannot attend or watch!
