Indians dominate distance events at Dutch Relays (04/10/09)
The race of the meet came early on for the Spirit Lake Park boys' track and field team Tuesday, April 7 at the Dutch Relays in Orange City. The Indians quartet of Tyler Gustafson, Jesse and Alec Baldwin and Brandon Griffin challenged Okoboji right down to the final 50 meters in the 4x800 relay. The Pioneers clipped the Indians by seven-tenths of a second for the overall race title, but ended up winning the Class A title with a time of 8:16.13...
