Bee and Butterfly Festival 2019

Delores Maser, founder of the annual Bee and Butterfly Festival, was recognized by Dickinson County Conservation Board Executive Director Lee Sorenson during Friday's festivities. The event will be renamed "Dee's Bee and Butterfly Festival" next year. The day also featured games, face painting, performances by Sally Shaver DuBois also known as Silly Sally a grounded hot air balloon and the release of some 600 monarch butterflies. The event is meant to provide education on the environmental importance of pollinators.
