Cancer survivors made the first official lap Friday during the Dickinson County Relay for Life festivities. They were then joined by caregivers for the next lap, before the night's other activities and a time of fellowship began. The night included face painting, a scavenger hunt and something called a frozen T-shirt contest in which children compete to see who can be the first to unfold a T-shirt which has been frozen solid, pull it on and run a lap. The local Relay for Life event was also joined by the Break the Cycle 200 riders again. The cyclists ride to raise funds and awareness in an effort to end human trafficking.
