Today, might not have been a beautiful, sunshining day, but it was the perfect day for a run. It wasn’t too warm, there was little to no wind. It was also a day off from working for me. Days like today make me realize how thankful I am for being able to get out of the house and go to work. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about the day off. I was able to go for a run, rollerblade almost 4 miles, and penny board a couple of miles!
A couple other quarantine pastimes I have picked up is doing puzzles with my mom and keeping up with the TV show “The Voice” with my family. Tonight was the finale and we all placed guesses on who would win. Let me just say that I chose correctly — and the winner also happened to be favorite! I never really thought I would be spending my May nights doing puzzles but I struggle to walk away from it. I keep telling myself “just one more piece” then I put another piece together and I’m like “okay one more piece” and the next thing I know two hours have passed. The particular puzzle we are working on right now is a customized family picture from Christmas on my mom's side. I find it kinda creepy trying to put my family members' faces together, but it is a great challenge for us. Hopefully we get it finished by June 1 when softball is supposed to start.
