I have decided to set another goal for this quarantine period — catch a fish. So far, I have gone fishing twice and have had no luck yet.
I’ll admit I am not the most patient person when it comes to fishing, however, I’m hoping to set a new personal record for the length of fish caught. As long as it is bigger than about 3 or 4 inches, it will be a PR for me.
I also found out tonight that I am not the best fishing partner, as I’m not a big fan of touching some of those creepy crawlers. Hopefully, when the weather warms back up I will get out there again. I’ll keep you guys posted on if I meet my goal!
My takeaway from today was a grateful heart for this time and how it has allowed me to connect with people I’m close with in new ways — such as fishing, baking and piano.
Outside of fishing, today was a pretty relaxed day. I did some baking, cleaned my room for probably the 40th time in 50 days, and did a fair amount of homework. My classes are starting to wind down as we enter what would have been the time around finals. Also, I think today was supposed to be our last regular season tennis match.
It’s crazy to me to think that the season would be winding down already.
