A stroll down memory lane is really somehting if you go to the Okoboji Cemetery in Arnolds Park. It is so full of history of our area that it boggles the mind. If only some of the ressidents there could speak it would fill up your computer in no time flat. The other day I was taking photos of R. A. Smith's (Author of Dickinson County History-1900)tombstone as it reads like Thomas Jefferson's.But near the headstone of Mr. Smith is an interesing headstone for the White family. They had a cottage on Gilley's Beach. It is the shape of a huge tree stump and naturally white.
