This is prime time for trying to find a date/meaningful relationship in Okoboji. It is the beginning of May in the Iowa Great Lakes, Yesterday's, Tweeter's, many other restaurants opened up this weekend. Iowa State, Iowa, UNI all the colleges get out for summer in the next two weeks. There is a huge influx of people coming to Okoboji for the summer.

The EASEIST way to get a date is "networking." Okoboji is unique do to the fact we are the the #1 tourist destination in the upper mid-west. You have friends from out of town coming to Okoboji for the weekend; have them bring a single friend, (or two) along for the trip. My friend from Iowa State, Katie Kiesau, (who is married to Jason) has been visiting Okoboji since 2001. Every time she comes up, she always brings a couple of friends. Most of the time nothing happens, but it still makes for a great weekend, and it is a chance to meet new people.

Personally I can talk to anybody about anything, but so many times on that first date when you are still getting to know each other. . . . . . there is that . . . . . . . . pause. . . . . .ummmm . . . . . .
