The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will be hosting an informational meeting to discuss the results of a diagnostic and feasibility study of the Lower Chain of the Iowa Great Lakes (Upper Gar Lake, Minnewashta Lake, and Lower Gar Lake).

This study was conducted by researchers from Iowa State University over the past three years and was developed in an effort to understand the factors influencing water quality in these lakes. The results will also provide guidance to resource professionals, lake residents, and the local community for improving lake water quality.

Lake and community residents, community leaders, and anyone interested in water quality in the Iowa Great Lakes is welcome to attend.

The meeting will be held on Monday, June 14th, at 6:30 pm at the Milford Community Center.
