ISU Great Lakes SurveyPosted Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 9:10 AM
Iowa State University is conducting research on the Iowa Great Lakes. Local residents and members of Okoboji interest groups are invited to participate in ongoing research in the Iowa Great Lakes region. It is possible that people will receive more than one of these emails if they participate in multiple organizations in the region.
As you may have heard, Iowa State University is working with Iowa DNR to complete a diagnostic and feasibility study for restoration of the Okoboji Lower Chain of Lakes (Upper Gar, Minnewashta, Lower Gar). ISU is administering an on-line questionnaire to people active in the region. This questionnaire is an important part of helping the ISU research team understand the local community, particularly as it relates to these lakes. The hope is you will agree to participate. Below is a link that, by clicking on it directly or typing it in your Internet browser, will take you to the questionnaire and a more complete description of it. It takes about 10 minutes (at most) to complete. Participation in this questionnaire is confidential; we do not collect personal information that can be used to identify any individual. http://www.surveymonkey.com/LCHAIN
If clicking on the above link does not take to the questionnaire web site, please copy the entire link and paste it into your browser. Your thoughts, experiences and ideas are very important to us. Thank you for considering participation in this effort! Please contact me with any questions.
